Technical support, along with all the other services which WKDS provides, can be provided on an ad-hoc or contract basis. The advantages of contracted support are:

1. Access to regular preventative maintenance visits. We will call you at a predetermined interval, such as every three months, to arrange an on-site visit to run general checks on all your Macs. This is also an opportunity to resolve non-urgent issues which are occurring but have not warranted a call-out.

2. Monthly invoicing. All the time spent on-site during one calendar month is added up and charged on a single invoice. Without a contract each call-out will be invoiced at the end of the call.

3. When we are very busy and are assigning priorities to calls, if all other factors in terms of the urgency of the calls are equal, contracted customers take priority over non-contracted customers.

 

There is an annual support contract fee.
